Desert Survivors maintains a number of facilities on the Internet, both for enabling communication between members, and for reaching out to new members. If you haven't checked out these features, now is your chance. And if you sign up to receive regular mailings as e-mail and you might even save a tree.

Use this address to contact the Board of Directors about non-urgent matters, such as address changes, or just about any organizational inquiry. Mail is checked regularly.

Sign up to receive regular Desert Survivor mailings by e-mail:

All mailings sent by Desert Survivors to its members, with the exception of the Survivor and renewal notices, can be sent as e-mail. 5 to 6 times per year, a set of e-mail messages will arrive in your mail box, giving you the Desert Survivor trip schedule, notification of other Desert Survivor events, Action Alerts and more. Desert Survivors will never share your e-mail address with any other organization. And if you don't like this method of delivery, you can switch back to paper mailings at any time.

Desert Survivors maintains a listserv for its members, to enable them to communicate with each other about desert issues, private trips, equipment controversies, trip reports, etc. Just about anything you might want to discuss about the desert should find a sympathetic ear among the 100 or so participants.

Remember that this listserv is open to members only, so that no one else can get your e-mail address (except for other members when you post a message), or bombard you with unwanted e-mail.
