Car Camp at Mojave Preserve, California - Halloween
Weekend, 2004
Several Desert Survivors joined the Sierra Club on this car camp
celebrating the
10th Anniversary of the Desert Protection Act. The days were mild, in the mid
to
upper 60's while the nights were chilly in the 30's. We did three great hikes
amid
sagebrush and joshua trees. We also listened to a lecture at the new visitor
center
on Sea Turtle conservation.
